Solve a dispute between me and a buddy I am about to put a D1SC on my T/A with a FMIC and a alky control kit.
A friend I know from work (owns a SRT-4), keeps telling me that I need to "spray the IC" with 50 water / 50 meth..
I keep telling him I am going to spray 100% meth into the intake basically.
He is telling me that I will pick up a lot of horsepower if I spray the IC along with the alky control kit...
Will someone educate me on this? Isn't it ALL about IAT's? And I will control that with the alky control kit....

alky is a chemical intercooler, he is dumb, the only manufacturer that sprays the intercooler is subaru and ive seen many get kicked off the track for dripping fluid.

are you talking about spraying water/meth ON TO the IC?? if so then YES it works! 
its a trick the rally guys have used for years! ok not good at the track and not as effective as meth but it will help lower intake temps some.

You will have all the inlet air temp cooling that you need by using a front mount intercooler kit with your D-1SC and 100% methanol. There is no need to spray the intercooler. Bob
