MAF/O2/Misfire help...

Default MAF/O2/Misfire help...

Ok so take off from the house today...and the camaro is runnin like pure dog poop. had the laptop hooked up...didn't have an SES light...but i checked the codes anyway and found a MAF sensor Hi freq and a MAF sensor lo freq codes in the history....hmm....so i'm thinkin MAF sensor is going byebye....

i clear the codes....restart the car...no problems! wtf!
then i get a misfire code....and cylinder 6 misfire code....

and the next store i stopped at, it started runnin like poop...i had no activity on my o2 sensors....wtf....then it just randomly caught back up and took off again with no problems....

wholey moly...i dunno what's gotten into this beast!

i just had a similar problem like that and changed my 02s and now its great! do u have a k&n air filter? have you tried cleaning you maf?

that was going to be my first step was to clean the MAF....yes i do have a brand new k&n conical filter...

and then i'm going to check my o2's...they were used when i got them but they ran great until this new engine...might have a tad bit of oil on them from the break in...who knows lol.
