We raced from about 35-40ish roll, to 100mph the first round and then 120 the second time. I was ahead both times watching the back end of his car in my side view mirror. What surprised me was how much I jumped ahead on the 2-3 shifts and just kept pulling until around the top of 3rd.
On the track it may be a different story. His best so far is 12.5 @ 114mph, 1.6 60ft, my best (with 2.73's) was a 13.6 @109, 2.1 60. He's also got Long tubes being installed this weekend as he is still running factory manifolds and mufflers. His car weighs 3400 lbs, im not sure what mine is at. I'll deff need a stall and something els up my sleeve to run him down at the track.
My boss and some others followed us and got the second run on video which will be posted on the company website soon. LatemodelRestorationSupply.com aka 50Resto!
I'll post the link when its up.
Thanks, Josh.

well i am here thanks to josh. i was the guy in the mustang, and yea he pulled me for 2 nice kills.
yea i weigh about 3800lbs while he probably weighs 3400-3600
dont be sorry its true, and im still running 3.55's
i havent sunk alot of money in this car, maybe $1500. and i dont like to street race either, but as you could see the road was a ghost town.
it wasnt a 1.6, sorry it was a 1.7.
this is true. ^
I have no reason to lie about my car. here is a quick vid from a few weeks back. the camera is in a SRT8 Jeep. He runs a 13.0 and i think i ran a 12.7x this race.
