Default New best!

Well its not MUCH to be proud of but I ran a 11.490 @ 115.2 tonight. The weather was great! I wish I could have been on slicks with the short-belt and a little more bottle pressure(about 900 psi) ---- I was waiting on it to warm up but CERTAIN PEOPLE wouldn't leave me alone about making a nitrous pass before they left SHAWN!!!!! and I think I could have went better. I think I could have sprayed the car a little sooner off the line(sprayed about 20 feet out) but I was scared it wouldn't hook and I didn't make another pass. But over all I'm happy b/c I ran a new best on motor too... 12.46 @ 106.

I think the 30th of this month I might try to go out on slicks and skinnies with some bottle pressure and the shortbelt and shoot for some 11.30's.

Isn't that a bump on the nitrous list and a bump on the quickest stock internal power adder.... I might not get the quickest bolt on power adder but I will be the fastest with exhaust manifolds(atleast no1 has listed that they ran in the 10's with em and thats my goal).

Nice run Josh. I ran a best of 119 mph after i added headers. I have been thinking about 3:73 gears, What rpm are you at when you cross the traps?

What was your 60 ft times?

Ooops I need to edit the gears. That was with 3.23s I busted the 3.73s about 2 weeks ago and put my stock 3.23's in. IMO the gear change really isn't worth it. IF I were you I might go with a 3.42 but the 3.73's aren't worth it b/c they WILL break.

I cut a 1.58 on the nitrous pass and I didn't spray it till I rolled out a bit so I think I can get it down to a 1.52 or so if I spray it sooner or almost out of the whole.

If I could have made another pass I think it was gunna go faster but I didn't and probably for the best b/c I probably would have broken someting. I was going to the track today but the weather didn't hold up.

I have tried to go with a 150 and the car doesn't seem to change it runs the same times OR a .1 slower on the 150. I think its running lean BUT the O2's seem to stay around 910 or so which is a little high but not all that bad.

I have plans on a NOS direct port with a serperate fuel system with a 175 shot. I also need a ported TB(working on that right now) a pulley, a better converter, an LS6.... or FAST intake, and a good nitrous tune( I'm gunna buy LS1 edit real soon)

I am gunna try to run on slicks Sunday so I can spray the car outa the whole.
