Default 70 Camaro LS2 / 6 speed

Well.... first off, I am new to this site. I enjoy seeing others ideas to swaps.

I want to install a LS2 / 4L60E, but I might be able to score a local LS2/ T56. So...are the 6pds in GTOs & CTS-V the same? Any ideas of the gear ratios 1st,2nd, etc...

When I start this change over, I will be using BRPhotrods kit. Is there any tricks or anything I need to be aware of?

Hmm not to be mean but a simple search will provide you with LOTS of answers.

In fact, on the very first page of this Conversions section there is a 1970 Camaro/LS2/T56 build thread by Marktainium.

I think GTO and CTS T56's have more blocker rings/better synchros and slightly tighter gear ratios. This is info which is real easy to find if you venture to the Manual Transmissions section...

Best is to post the questions directly towards BRP, they post regularly here and will for sure see and answer any questions you have...
