Default Stall for LT1 (Heads Cam Car)

I've got a 97 LT1 w/GTP Heads, Hot Cam, All bolt ons, 3.73's. I'm currently running a Vig 2800 and when I went to the track after the Heads install I gained 5 MPH but kept the same E/T... Probably due to a jacked up trans... I am thinking about going with a yank 3500 or 3600. The Vig seemed to MPH very low, I'm looking for something with good efficiency so I have some *** from a roll. Unfortunately most of the Yank converter selection charts are based on LS1 applications. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You should check out yank I think the SS4000 would be a good converter for your setup and its very efficient so you might pick up a couple MPH. I think this converter will compliment your H/C and 3.73s very well. Good Luck man

Thanks! You don't think it will be too much for a car that still sees some daily driven miles?

depends really on where your powerband is...have you had the car dynoed? I wouldnt go with that big of a stall on an lt1 car unless your making peak hp at like 6400rpms...tops id go with on your car would be a tci 3800 or soemthing like that from yank...but im also going in blind just knowing your combo...it really depends on where your PB is and what the car likes.
