Default Quick question on BBC conversion

I have a 94 LT1 camaro.
Was wondering if I absolutely need aftermarket a-arms or can I use stock?
Do I need a new engine cradle?
Also, how difficult is it to remove the motor from the top of the car?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

you need a new k member and you can use your stock control arms if you so desire. HOWEVER. the k member for bbc makes the engine like in your lap its set so far back...i used motor plates and my bbc fits much much nicer than the ones i see on here using BMR's k member.

All I can say is that mine fits like a glove and all my stock mounting points are retained. Can't get any easier than that.

A-arms don't matter

New cradle is easier than trying to make the stock one work.

You can pull the motor trans out the top together if you pull the manifold/distributor. Short block will pull out just fine but you have to turn it sideways on the way up.

Thank you guys very much. Exactly the answers I WANTED to hear. Makes everything much easier.
I should be getting the motor out this week. I will post pics of the new motor when I get it.
