Default Stock Rockers or Yella Terra's???

Doing a 370 6.0 iron block build. Set up for D1SC ProCharger . I was going to be using Yella Terra Ultralite's. I was talking to James Slone over at Xtreme Powersports and he said that they have had no problems with GM stock rocker arms on some high horsepower ProCharged cars that they have built. Anyone have any opinions on using stock rockers over aftermarket? Thanks

Stock will work, but if your putting out the money to build this set up spend the money for the yella terras. The stock have needle bearings in them. If they have miles on them, worn out, or make to much power then they could come apart. Save your setup with buying good rockers, and benifit from shafts and no valve float.

You are definately safer going with Yella Terras, ive seen the aftermath of when needle bearings come out of a rocker before, not pretty. Don't risk it.

I personally have never had 1 problem/failure out of a stock rocker. The only time I recommend Yella Terra is when using an aftermarket head casting that requires the YT's for proper valvetrain geometry. If you're using a GM casting head, the stockers are fine.

I've been running the yella terra ultralites for 17K. My stockers had 100K on them so it was either get them rebuilt by HS or go aftermarket.
