Default Which holes to mount torque arm to rear?

I have a 9" rear and according to the directions with my spohn torque arm I should use the set of holes towards the driver's side to mount to the rear. On my setup this seems like the wrong set. It puts the ta up against the tranny. Could my rear be different? I'm also running a BMR TA relocation crossmember. Which set of holes should I put the front mount in to start?

It is a 4l80e. The ta is up against the tranny and about an inch away from the relocation plate. I think the other holes will put it right where I need it.

Hello
Do you have any pics to post to see what you are explaining, what you might have to do on the rear is use the other set of holes on the mounting bracket and make so clearance in you tunnel area so you do not get a clunk. If you can post some pics just to make sure we can get your situation resolved.
Thanks Again

Your directions are right you want to install the torque arm using the holes towards the drivers side. If you use the other holes there could be clearance issues between the torque arm and the trans tunnel. The 12 bolt and 9 inch are the ones you really have to worry about the 10 bolt can use either set.
