4l60 wont shift into 3rd when just driving around car will shift into 3rd but at wot the car will hit the revlimiter has anybody else had this problem i think it might be in the tune

Could be tune, different tire sizes (still tune related), sucking the pan dry, or 3-4 clutch packs on their way out, but they should die pretty quick if they're slipping that bad.
