LQ4: straight from truck to 00 Camaro SS?

LQ4: straight from truck to 00 Camaro SS? So I blew up my LS1 with 80k miles. I purchased a LQ4 from a 04 chev for $500 bucks with 70k on it.
My questions are: can I just add a ls6 cam and springs?
Should I put the heads off of my ls1 on the lq4? The heads on the ls1 say "843" I think. I do have a complete pair of 317 heads as well.
I will be doing the oil pan/accesory swap.

The heads on the LQ4 are far superior to your LS1 heads. You should drop in the LQ4 as it is. It will make a good amount more power under the curve than your LS1.
