Its a 2004 truck he bought a set of AFR 205 heads 65cc chamber and the motor is a Lq9 not 4 i see it has flat tops now that we have it apart ? We have a ported truck intake, ported throttle body and yella terras 1.7 a set of edelbrock headers and the truck has 4.10 gears and a 2300 converter. I was wondering what cams people have used in the past in a setup like this ? I always check my PTV but do not wanna fly cut what does everyone feel is a safe cam to by to avoid cutting pistons ?

since its flat tops, might as well and cut in some vr' and just take advantage of afr heads with proper cam.

OK, what is a proper cam with the truck intake ? he does not or should I say will not change the intake and does not take the engine over 6200rpm.
