Stand Alone Harness for LQ4 W/200r4
I have been piecing together my project for a couple months now, and just got my harness and pcm out of a 2001 Camaro. I plan on running the 200r4 that was in my 84 regal t-type. The motor will be a LQ4 out of a 2005 gmc sierra 2500HD. I will not be running A/C, or emissions just 2 o2's. I will be using a stock LS1 intake, TB, and injectors etc. I have a f-body front accessory drive. Right now I'm trying to figure what unnecessary pins/wires i need to pull out of the blue and red connectors. I am looking through the 2001 Pin Assignment FAQ that's on HERE. The project car in question is a 1984 Buick Regal T-type. So far the wires its told me to remove are.......
Removed pins and wires from Blue PCM connector....
23, 25, 28, 32, 65, 68 and 70
Removed pins and wires from Red PCM connector....
4, 7, 13, 34, 36, 37, 45, 53, 54 and 64
I think there might be some more that need to be gone, as i will not be running the 4l60e or A/C..What other wires will I need to remove? Is there anything else I have to look out for? Will all the connectors be the same as far as sensors and coil packs on the motor?
