Default tested the FTI converter today

finally got to the track after installing my homebuilt 4l80e trans
got my best 60', this thing flat hooked up and took off-one guy said he saw a little air under the front tires, but i spun a little to-the car isnt really set up for the track, but doesnt hook bad on drag radials-all the shifts were quick and firm (Compushift controller)
Greg built the converter for my stroker motor, but doesnt do bad with the little motor, lol

i had been a 1.88 with the old setup, yesterday was 1.61, prob. could have gotten it down playing with tire pressure, but was hot as hell yesterday, and
the car went lean on the top end, so i terminated the testing-its just a street car with stock susp., so i wasnt expecting much more out of it
its a 10" conv., not sure which one, but it tightens up under power great
not sure why it went lean, its an old lq4 engine with a procharger and carb, was perfect last year, prob wont worry about it, once the stroker is in then i'll retune it-mainly just wanted to be sure the trans/converter works ok
if i get picked to run on "Pass Time", at least i will know i wont look to bad, lol

Good test results. Cant wait for you to change the motor. 2 tenths in the 60 that should drastically reduce some et at the big end.
The converetr he has is built specifically for boosted cars. Its the PMLS series 10" billet lock up.
Thanks for the report.
