Default rhs heads.

You hear very little about Racing Head Service ls cylinder heads. I would like to know if anyone has ran them and what they thought. I like the idea of the rolled over valve angle. I have a ms3 cam and would like to change the heads and try not to have piston to valve issues if possible.

Comp/RHS were purchasing their LS heads from ET Performance. I believe they were working on their own casting from overseas but that may have changed.

If you can get a set of these heads, they will make great power.

Mild street friendly 416 combination

More aggressive Z06 combination

These use different valvetrain than the ET Performance heads but can be retrofitted with the good stuff pretty easily.

Is it true that they are over 2000 per head? So basically over 4 grand for a set of heads. That what the other threads I read on the heads said and I just wanted to make sure.

NOT TRUE...and true,

I paid far from that for the ETP 215 FTI Prep mentionned in post #3 More agressive ZO6 combination...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-any-good.html

Are these the same heads as you have because in every other thread I read about them when I did searches that topic always comes up.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...rhs-heads.html
In this thread someone even said they called and was told the pricing was per head.

Not questioning you because in that thread it also said that the price is almost double of what ETP heads were, so you did probably pay far less. But is RHS raising the price that much?

I just got a great deal on a set of RHS pro elite heads (225 runner) through Comp. I will be installing them along with a new cam and a FAST 92 intake on our 1998 vette (shop car)

Once all the mods are complete I will have a lengthy write up in the dyno section of the forums.
