Where can I get this fitting??
Looking for another fitting like the one that came with the B&M cooler I have here. Its the fitting that will thread on the transmission line, they only give you one, and after quite a bit of reading around here going to not run the factory stuff in the radiator. Going to run just the cooler. Problem is there is only one of those fittings out of the four that came with the cooler. Need a second one, where in the world can I get it? Went to Lowes, Home Depot, Napa, Advanced Autoparts, Autozone, and a local hardware store. No luck.

Any plumbing store should have them. Kinda weird...here Lowes, Home Depot have them. Worst case, any place that builds lines...around here we have a place called Fluid Connector Products....but I'd imagine just about any city has some place similar. What is it...a 3/8 barb fitting?

I suppose that is what it is, but no one had it with the same size for the hose. I had only found one place that even had the right size for the thread it self, and the diameter is smaller for the hose, the hose won't fit tight on the only female threaded one I found in town. I went to B&M's page, didn't see it listed anywhere.

They have a small section in home depot that has a bunch of brass fittings just like that. Just have to search through and find the pieces to make it work.

is it 5/16 or 3/8 on the tube side, and is it a female 1/4" pipe or female flare on the other end-hard to see the pics
hard to tell from the pic-they generally send fittings as if you are using the fact. cooler also, prob had 5/16 lines
i had some fittings left over thru the years from diff coolers
do you need the fitting to screw on to the cooler?

I have a 2 extra ones, because i use stainless steel braided hoses, But for what it would cost to ship them to you, you could buy a box full. , I believe the fitting is a (3/8" male barb fitting with 3/8"npt female). about any hardware store, auto part store will have them . I know Advance Auto has them , were there transmission coolers are, on the shelf.

I'll check a different Advanced Auto than the one I was in. I swear you can never find what you need in FL. I do think its a 3/8" male bard and 3/8" npt female, I know the 1/4" stuff is too small. Its the fitting B&M supplies that fits the hose they supplied with the cooler, and it screws directly onto the transmission line fitting. They only supply one I suppose due to them assuming everyone will also run the factory cooler? There was 4 fittings in the box, all of them different.
Randy it says you are in Kentucky? Shouldn't be more than a stamp or two to send a fitting? Let me know what you want for it, if you have paypal I'll send it. Trying to get my friends Formula out of the driveway.
forcd ind, I just need the fitting that screws onto the factory transmission lines. Going to not use the factory cooler, just need a second fitting like pictured to do that I guess.
This is the cooler that is being installed:70268 Description says inlet/outlet size is 3/8.
