Default If you have a upgraded clutch+flywheel please step inside..

Im shopping for a new clutch and flywheel setup..

So far I like the UUC flywheel because its dual mass ( just like stock i think ) and I know there wont be any fitment issues or slave cylinder problems..

Just dont know what clutch to run with it? Spec ? any others out there that will fit?

If the clutch is made to fit the stock flywheel, it is safe to assume it will fit the UUC ?

I dont want any fitment issues.

please post up your setup and how you like it.

I also looked into the monster kit but its over $1,000 for the aluminum flywheel kit and it just seems a but steap, im tryin to see if it would be cheaper to piece together my own.

I have the ls7 which is a standard flywheel set up. I paid around $500 plus another $100 for the spacer. Hold nice and haven't noticed any chatter.

Any one running a spec flywheel and clutch ?

I can get a stage 2 clutch and single mass steel flywheel for $615 .

Plus I think it will need the $100 spacer ..

Any good or should I spend the $1,000 on the monster setup?

I'd buy it just for the pic. How do I know it's real? Mike, can you verify.

The spacer is about $85 and the slave is $200+. Plus, caddy did my install and they replaced the stock slave for free while they were in there.

If you go to www.sdparts.com you can get the katech spacer and the ls7 set up at the same time. That's who I bought the clutch from and they are a little cheaper than anywhere else I found

The Monster clutch kit is a bolt in deal with no guess work.
They also have billet steel flywheels, 18 and 28 lb versions (made in the USA BTW)
Give them a call and talk it over with them.
Great guys, tell them Chris @ Gforce said to call

site says 28lbs, which wont rev like a 15lb aluminum, but will be a huge upgrade over stock.
