Default STS warning buzzer

I have my boost turned down to 4 lbs. And when I get into it my warning buzzer buzzes. What the hell. Im not running the STS PVC valve, I have my valve cover vented to the atmosphere. Any ideas as to why my buzzer buzzes. Oh yeah I did remove the little gold resistor and hard wired it..

Thanks guys..

the buzzer is an oil pressure warning alarm. either to high or two low and it will sound. my guess would be not enough oil pressure. do you have a high/ low switch? if so, flip it to high and leave it alone. and check for oil leaks

The warning buzzer is an indicator that the oil pump not working when the engine oil pressure exceeds 1 psi at the pump - so this is bad. It means that the pump is not pumping oil back to the engine, as designed. I had a relay go bad, so it would not supply current to the pump; I replaced the relay, problem solved. Check those relays, it may be something simple as that...

Sweet, Ill check the relays. I dont have the "High / low" pressure switch. The pump runs on high all of the time. I havent had any oil leaks.

caused by pressure in line under boost. Just adjust the hobbs switch higher.
