new s60 rearend i have some qustions

Default new s60 rearend i have some qustions
I just picked up a s60 rearend for my 99 T/A mild heads, cam car, can someone thats been threw this tell me how much do i need to shorten my driveshaft. I was told 1.625. Looking for a total lenght from what to what?
Plus any input on good shop in Dallas, that can do it for me?

most people will tell you to measure, I forget specifically what to what.
