Default 10 bolt and a 2 step

i just installed a msd 6al and a 2 step onto my 94 trans am with a built 4l60e 3200 rpm stall and a set of 4.10s in a ten bolt.

my question is if launching off of the 2 step is gonna be harder on my car then launching just off of the footbrake?

i currently have 18 inch street tires but am on the lookout for a set of et streets or et drags for my stock 16 inch rims

and also with a 2 step do i pill it for like 100 rpm less than when my tires start to overpower the brakes?

Yes it will it it harder, WOT at launch, but auto on an LT1 rear should be fine, I guess, as to pilling it right before the tires break loose would probably work, mine is a 6spd so no experience on that.
