Default Needle color on Red Face Gauges

Thinking about installing Red Face guages, something like the newer GTO's.
What should the needle color be; White or Silver?
Does anyone know what the needle color is on the GTO's.

I'm a he.

These are the prototypes I am making. It's still in the R&D phase with a couple of different things I've still got to try.

I am going with white. Same color face, except w/bezel & drop shadows, getting from Delisle @ buyback. Wouldn't I just be able to scrap off old paint on needle & re-paint in white w/ needle paint.

its more complex than that. it seems straightforward but to transfer light properly there is work to be done
