Default Transferring shock tower stickers

Is it possible to transfer the belt routing and emissions control stickers from the shock tower on one vehicle to the shock tower on another? I did an engine swap and want to re-use the stickers from the donor car to avoid paying $30 for two stickers. I have a heat gun, and scrapers/razors.

I removed mine from my car and they are designed to shred, half the sticker pulls up and the other half remains in diagonal stripes. I doubt you will be able to salvage them, just get rid of them it looks cleaner anyway.

I have seen posts where people say it's possible to remove them - it just takes a lot of time and being careful. I want to know if it's possible to take the removed sticker and re-apply it, and if so, the best way to go about the whole thing.

I'm pretty sure I need the stickers for the California smog referees since I did an engine swap.

Yep. I tried to warm mine up & get a flat edge underneath to get the whole decal up & the laminate on the top is the only thing that would come up. You can certainly try, but I wouldn't count on them still being usable.
