Default 06 v power

how much hp does the supercharger add in 06? I have an 04 and am considering an upgrade. and is it the 6.0 in 06? 2004 cts-v has 400 hp

I'm going to take a stab. It sounds by how its worded that you think the 2006 V's had a supercharger from the factory. Not the case, that happened in 2009. The 2006's did get he 6.0 LS2 that is also rated at 400hp...but a little more torque than the 5.7 LS6's. If you're asking what an after market unit would do to a 2006 V...I have no idea.

Oh i thought it came stock in 06 through 09 so what the difference between the ls6 and ls2? thought ls6 was king

2009+ V's have the 6.2 liter LSA. Think a less "built" unit than the LS9 out of the ZR1 with a different intercooler.

LS6 = LS1 + better heads, cam and intake along with some small changes to the block. LS2 is a whole different animal but still very similar block design.

My supercharger added about 100 hp.

Is there a noticable difference between a '04 and a '06? I mean if I drive a '04 and then drive a '06 would there much difference in the way if feels? (sorry if I ***** your thread speedracer, just curious)

yes the 04 will feel like a civic while the 06 will feel like a veyron with 4 doors. ls2>ls6

The only difference you'll notice is the steering wheel controls.

LS6 loves to rev up quickly and has nice high rpm power. The LS2 feels like old school all around power.
