2011 CTS Coupe Info, & foreshadowing for CTS-V Coupe
Blog post: http://caddyinfo.com/wordpress/?p=2485
Ahead of the new 5-series BMW release, Cadillac released production images and info on the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe. The base model will come with the the 3.6L DI V6 (LLT) for 304hp, a sport suspension with all-weather or summer tires, (likely FE2 and FE3), and a more aggressive final drive ratio of 3.73:1 for manual and auto.
A CTS-V Coupe with the 556 hp Supercharged V8 LSA engine will be available later.

A fun add is a back-up camara setup. The V-model will probably be visually similar, but with the V design details one would expect: mesh grill, mesh insert for the side vents, larger exhaust, FE4 suspension, Brembo brakes.
For the first time, the previous V-series exclusive Recaro seats are available as an option for the CTS Coupe.

That said, this will be poised to be the M3 and IS-F fighter I assume, so I'm curious what the weight savings/performance ratio will be with this 2 door. Knowing GM I'm guessing it will weigh the same and be no faster than the sedan.

This. The reason many or most of us are here is because of the 4 door requirement. I looked at the M3's but couldn't get past the 2 doors.
