What size spacer?
Hi, trying to get my c5 z06 rims 18"x10.5" on my 98 ss without them rubbing. these are for the rear tires only. i was thinking an 1/8" spacer. and i forgot im running a 295/35/18 tire. what do you guys recommend?

Should be 56mm on those wheels. A 1/8" spacer should do it, might have to grind a little on the bump stops, maybe bang on the wheel wells some.
Im running the same size wheels on mine on a 56mm offset with 3/16" spacers, except im running 315/30/18s. Use a 3/16" if you wanna be safe, they will still fit inside your fenders if you do(should probably roll them). However, it is recommended to upgrade to longer studs (arps) when you use spacers. I did.

was experimenting with my tires today. i bought some washers at lowes to get a ballpark guess of how much a spacer i need. i think the 1/8" spacer is cutting it to close. i would like to get 3/16" spacers but can't find them anywhere. since im worried about getting a 1/4" spacer because I have stock studs. one more weird thing the driver side rear tire fits fine without any spacers. do i need to put spacers on both sides so the wheel base isnt out of balance?

looks like u need to get the adj PHD and maby some adj LCA, to get ur back axle centered.
and YES, u need to put spacers on both sides.
if u cant find spacers custum cut a one for u, here: http://www.motorsport-tech.com/
