Default Throttle Sticking, Need Some Suggestions please

Not sure if im posting in the right section, but here it is...

I have a 99 ws6 that my dad and i just got done with a complete engine swap on. I took it out tonight to see if everything was holding together alright, and noticed that when i come to a stop and am about to take off again, it seems like the throttle gets stuck when its all the way open and i almost have to give it a little kick to get it loose again. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong?

Default

you probably need to adjust the throttle cable if its got traction control or there should be a small set screw on the bump stop where your tb cam bracket hits that you can adjust to open the blade a little more. if its not down shifting like it should then thats a tell tale sign the cable needs to be tigtened. Otherwise adjust the set screw and you should be golden.
