New Stuff for the SS = New Shots of the SS
I had a clean car and an Alabama/LSU game to watch the entire second half of the afternoon, so I had to settle for high noon shots. I just stopped at the first place with some shade that looked like it might halfway work.
These are also the first shots of the new wheels actually cleaned up, and the first shots since I did the new Halo headlights after I busted one stock headlight trying to Whistler-mod them, low beam and fog light 6000k HIDs, and got the front windshield tinted. Here is a quick rundown of what I've done to the car so far on the exterior since I got it a few weeks ago...
5% limo tint on t-tops (FS: t-top shades, LOL)
20% tint on doors and hatch (one-piece hatch tint)
45% tint on whole windshield (neutral, not charcoal)
Black Halo headlights w/ 6000k HIDs (low beams and fogs)
Stainless steel CAMARO rear inserts (Muffinbuster/EmblemPros)
"Hurst Equipped" badge on rear bumper (thinking of ditching this, not sure)
Staggered Hypersilver 19x8.5s and 19x9.5s RPM 505 wheels w/ brushed lips

Still to do on the exterior: Ditch the ugly slash cut truck tips for hidden turndowns; Remove the side molding and maybe the Hurst badge; Maybe go black/stainless SS emblems all around; Paint calipers red or black with black caliper brackets and rotor hats; Swap in clear corners with black housings to see what they look like instead of the factory amber/red corners and decide which I like better

It was actually a Lowes.
I love the tinted t-tops. In my previous F-Bodies I always kept the shades in because even with sunglasses the sun would find a way to hit me right in the eyes, but hated that it made the car feel so much smaller inside. With the tinted t-tops I can still see up and out, but it completely takes the edge off the sun even when it's high in the sky.

I hate the looks of it for sure. For now I'm going to ditch the tips and hit the muffler with some high temp grill paint (flat black) so that it doesn't stand out so much, down the road I'll go CME most likely.

car looks great man..... Just like you I couldnt stand the t-tops the way they were and certainly didnt like the shades they made me feel all cramped lol so i threw some tint on them also. like you said, needs clear corners and tips ditched along with the hurst emblem, but otherwise car looks great.

This is the fourth vehicle I've had with a tinted front windshield (my WS6, GTO, and Integra all had tinted windshields too). I love it. With HIDs night visibility is still better than stock headlights and an untinted windshield, and it also cuts glare on the sun during the day and other lights at night, all while protecting the interior from the sun. Can't beat it IMO.
Every windshield I've had done has been between $70-75 for the tint + labor depending on the film. This particular neutral film + labor was $70.
They're from ebay. Just plain jane Halos, not the projector style housings. For some reason the projector style housings look off to me. I prefer the good ol' Halos, and as a bonus they're half the price.
