Default What do you think it is worth???

I am tossing around the idea of letting the V go. I love the car but lately I have only been driving it about once or twice a week. I know that you usually never make any money back on modifications unless they are removed and sold separately but I wanted to see what everyone thought it would be worth with everything included.

2005 CTSV - No Sunroof
Black/Creme - w' black console
42,000 Miles
Kooks 1-7/8" headers
3" connection pipes/no cats
B&B X Pipe System
Volant CAI
New FE4 Shocks(500 miles ago)
Ground Control 500/550(500 miles ago)
B&M Short Shifter
Brakes all around(500 miles ago) (NEW FRONT - spindles, hubs, calipers, rotors, hawk pads)(NEW REAR - Rotors, Hawk Pads)
Goodridge Stainless Lines(all corners 500 miles ago)
My Motor Mounts(pictured below)
UUC Trans Mount
My Diff Bushing
Valentine 1 Hard Wired Under Mirror(included)
LED's Most Places
CCW 505's - 19x10 rear 19x9.5 front (Needs rear tires, front will probably go another 2-3000.)
Tinted fogs and side markers.
Amsoil Engine and Diff(500 miles ago)

Interior is in great condition, No flaking what so ever and no rips or tears in the leather.

The driver front fender has a small ding in it(probably fix that before it goes) and the front end has the usual wear from a daily driver.

I would like to know what you think with everything above included. I just want to get some ideas for now and I am not positive I will sell it.

Those are the wheels. I modified the headers to use a V-Band so I don't know if they would work for you unless you have some connection pipes made.

On the subject of the motor mounts, I might be building another 5 sets so I will let you know what I decide if you are interested.

Ok cool let me know.
I was supposed to buy those wheels from him, scheduled time off from work to drive down there to get em but he bailed on me the night prior to sell them locally!

I put some prices over on ctsvparts.com (look for the used price links on the top left). See if that helps you some.

It is just a different type of flange. The stock Kooks has the expanded donut type connection.

The header on the left has the stock style connection. I have already cut it off the header on the right.

These are with the V-Band flange.

25k would be nice but that would probably take a good amount of time to find a buyer. I am going to stay away from parting out for now. It sucks having bought this car new and seeing it depreciate so much.

Is it still under warranty? If so for how long? 25k is not a very big stretch if it has the 100k miles powertrain warranty.

Unfortunately it is not under warranty. I had planned to install the nitrous, drop in a cam and possibly heads so I didn't want to extend the warranty just so they could deny me when/if I brought it in for work.

man those headers are sexy.

any more pics of the B&B exhaust? i was looking in to the same exact setup. the 1 7/8th headers with the 3" B&B exhaust, header back.

also, if you don't mind, any feedback on that setup is greatly appreciated. you notice a significant difference? some say the larger diameter headers with the 3" exhaust hurts the low end power. you could help answer that riddle.

I am in the same boat as you, paid $55K including 6% sales tax. Stopped counting mod investments, as I went a little overboard. Not sure if I will ever buy new again, as cannot be justified unless you shiat money. One good thing comes from all this and that is due to the loss you take upon sale it is better to just keep it rather than know you gave it away.

2003RC51-

If/when you get serious about selling your car, make sure to send me a PM. I've been looking for a while now, and will be making a purchase within the next few months.

Thanks,

KZad
