Default 5.3 to a 383

im wanting to make my 5.3 into a 383 stroker. i know it involves boring it from 96 to 99mm but would this weaken the cylinder walls? because its a boosted motor.

Of course removing material will weaken the lining, but that does not mean it would not be enough for respectable levels of boost.
You could sonic test the block to find the best contender.

We've seen a lot of 5.3l blocks bored to the 3.905" range. We can set you up with a 383 rotating assembly if you decide you need one!!
