Default Pulley removal...

OK...let me start out with...don't crucify the LS1 rookie .
Has anyone ever used an impact to remove the harmonic balancer/pulley bolt?
Also, I just took a real quick look at the water pump pulley so maybe I missed something...what does it take to get the pulley off there, if I ever need to??

The impact is fine and probably the only way to remove the bolt. The WP pulley does not have to come off. The WP comes with a pulley installed with the UP dated WP.

yeah pulling the crank pulley is way easier with the impact versus with hand tools.
