How fast? (2000 Mach Z 800 tripple)
Wondering what mph you guys that know think a 2000 800 Mach Z with a aftermarket can and studded track should be capable of?

2000's where pretty well set up from the factory, if no one touched it id say depending on conditions you would see between 108 to 115. those sleds move pretty good.
with clutching and a good set of pipes with the right jetting 115+ is easy in those sleds. ported right and a nasty set up 120-125, then go big bore and forget it!!
those ran just a little short of the cat 1,000 of the same times, i know a guy with a pretty well set up cat, stock cc, ported and tweaked and he runs 130-133 on ice

2000 Milennium Edition was an awesome looking sled! Back when I worked at Moosehead Motorsports the trick was to mill the head and alter the port timing with thinner gasket. Its been too many years to remember the best equation.....

i think they where going from stock 6 layer to 4 layer gaskets, pipes pick up a lot as well. dynoport or crank shop. a digitron would be very helpfull in jetting. clutching is very importain as well. hard to give clutch info without knowing the mods
