Default Was that the Cars and Coffee caravan on 635 this morning?

Around 7:40a headed west, just wondering if it was you guys. Looked like a lot of nice cars, made my commute to work a little more enjoyable. The cars I can remember were a black C6 Z06, an orange/yellow Lotus Exige, blue Audi RS4?, white E92 M3, I believe a silver Ferrari F355, a red Porsche 911 Turbo (assuming) and a few others.

I think the OP was talking about Dallas, not Houston.

Yes, I'm in Dallas. Not sure where they were coming from (or going to) that early but it was a pleasant surprise.

Sounds like one of the Cruises that 6speedonline.com has! They do a cannon ball every once and awhile! Sounds like the lineup of cars that usually run those...

I checked out their site, I think you're correct. Looks like it was a Toy Run for the fire department. I guess I caught a group headed to their starting point.

I just finished reading that link posted and that looked like it might have been a hell uv a run for that club - and for a good cause, too! And to get to ride in some military vehicles as a trade off for giving some soldiers a ride in the cars would have been great! We need to try to set something like that up down here in the Houston area somewhere - I'd be in!
