Default who would like to see a 275 class at NED

They are concerned about car count.

Would the NY,NJ,MD boys travel if the payout was more than $1000??

275 drag radials would be the biggest tire you can run on the back, no slicks. It is real big down south and around NY/NJ doesnt seem to have made its way up this way though.

Marco I'd love it if i had the money to build a radial car haha!

I'd like to see it but the turnout would probly be low up here.5.20 1/8 which means 8 second cars.Don't think enough would be up here for a big payout.

Well I'm working on seeing if they will allow me to put on 1 race this year during the night races.

I would get $4000 from sponsors and payout the following

1st $2500
2nd $1000
3rd $500

I gotta assume the jerseys guys would travel for a garrenteed payout

A guy on yellow bullet said the guys won't travel for less than $5000. I can probably get $5000 but I would like to see 25 cars show up

i would like to see some local guys come out of the woodwork here in new england. even if they rn't nearly as fast as the jersey boys it would be nice to see some interest in radial racing here in new england.

Ok just got done talking to Mike Dez. he had a great idea.

We would do 3 races in 2010. 2 low purse 1 big purse.

We would have to run it when quick street is NOT running so we don't pull cars from there. I was thinking Friday night before a quick street race.

So we do a $500 payout then the last race of the year can be a $2500 payout on a Saturday not a quick street weekend.

This would help the locals prepare for the big race.

What do you guys think of this?

The rules are made so we are good with rules. I just have to convince Joe now LOL

Do them on saturday/sunday when you're not running the quick street series and you'd be better off, alot of guys have a hard time making friday races, especially one that's as far away as ned is from a good portion of the racers that would attend.

Make sure it stays 1/8th mile too, if it turns into a 1/4 mile class it's going to go nowhere. This class is working because the 1/8th mile is the equalizer for the multiple combo's

The motor spec's.... what are they doign about ls stuff that came with 15 degree heads, treating them like the aftermarket heads and whatnot, noone'e ever really said what the rule is on that.

Yeah I was thinking a Saturday/sunday on an off weekend of quick street. most guys would have a hard time to show up.

It will be 1/8 mile, we are sticking to the same rules as the other tracks.

As far as the heads, its not an issue.

marco if you want to do it that way try making it so racers must come to all of the races like a points set up or something otherwise you will only get a good showing for the $2500 race i think.

if you do some kind of points/attendence for the events it will track who is coming to the events after the first one, and you will have a good idea how many cars should show for the future events..just a thought
