98 ls1 map & cam sensor help!

Default 98 ls1 map & cam sensor help!

hey guys im at garage posting from my phone. hooking up a howell after market harness to my ls1 and the map connector fits right next to the oil pressure sender... but i thought that was where the cam sensor connected ? if that is in fact where the map is supposed to connect where does the cam sensor plug in??? thanks for your help!!!

There should be 3 sensors close to each other at the back of the intake..the map, cam, and oil pressure sensor. Are you missing a connector?

The cam sensor is in the back off the block of course but it is the one that is bolted down to the engine block in the center rear.

cam sensor bolts down to block.......
oil pressure sensor is the one sticking up
map sensor is in the intake

Im not seeing the other connector, a good picture would be helpful.

right now I see the oil sender and right next to that the Map sensor, but have not found the cam sensor connector on the motor, and of course now its in my rig, and its hard to see. I hope Im just overlooking it and I find it during my next visit, if anyone has a picture that would rule.

Ok, in the pics you have in the other link.. All I see is the map sensor and cam position sensor. I see an empty hole on the driver side where a fitting and oil pressure sensor should be at.

Ya I just installed the oil sender today, that cam sensor has gotta be there, not sure how I missed it today. Im gonna blame bad lighting but i'll find it im sure. Thanks for helping me out man
