Default What all needs to be done for 335/30's not to rub ?

I've decided to go with Nitto NT555R 335/30's on my OE C6 Z06 18 X 10.5 deep dish 56mm back wheels. This is a straight line non DD car that will see no harsh cornering. To make these work out back what all will be involved in making them tuck under the back fenders w/o rubbing issues ?

Also when these are made to fit right, what front tire size will look right with them for the front's for an OE C6 Z06 in a 18 X 8.5 46mm ?

Thanks!

Mike

OK I think all I need for the 335/30's to work in the back is a 5/16" spacer. I'm going to try that and hope everything works out back. Now I just need to know if a 305/35 or 265/35 or is another size better for the front 18 X 8.5 46mm wheels that would work and look the best with the 335/30's out back. What do you guys think ?

I wouldnt run a spacer in the back. I would just take a hammer to the inside of the fender well. I fit 325/50s on the back of my car by just beating in the fender well a little bit.

I did the same with a 325/50 tire and forgot to roll the finders, needless to say it ate my new mt/et street radial. So make sure you roll your finders.

This person seems to follow my posts around and act childish after i replied to why he was doing this in the first place to someone else. Its looks to be a attempt for attention if you ask me.

I'll make sure I do everything that was suggested above, thanks guys! Now the last part is to figure out a front tire size that's the best choice. You guys got anything ?

What do you think would be better ? 305/35 or 265/35 or 255/40 for the front 18 X 8.5 46mm wheels to look right for the 335/30 on 18 X 10.5 deep dish 56mm ? This is really starting to get to me now and can't believe this is so hard to figure out. I just am at a loss now..

My 335/30s fit without spacers. Just needed an Eastwood Fender roller and alot of massaging of the wells.

So I'm sure they will "fit" but is that the right choice of tire that's going to look right and compliment the 335's out back ? I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision with these tires because of how expensive they are. Not trying to beat this to death, just want everything to look right is all. If no one has anything to add I'll go with the 265/35's for the front's and cross my fingers.

do u want it to look kinda skinnier in the front? or u want the widest in front? if u want a big tire u can run a 275/35/18 on the front. i personaly think it would look good with a 245 tire up front though. id run a 245/40/18 up front. the ride would be better too up front.

Well, no one else has said it...

You cant run 305s on a 8.5" rim...

I think that just would be to much tire in the front. Thanks for all the opinions and help guys it's greatly appreciated. I think I have decided to go with the 245/40/18 for the front's. I think it will be a nice offset to the 335's on the back.

I really wouldnt advise a 335mm tire on a 10.5 rim in the 1st place , Nittos do tend to be a little narower than most other tires of the same size though . On a 10.5 rim Id stick with 305 or 315 mm tire , jmo ...Im not the gospel . But anyways roll the fenders and hammer tub where you need clearence . Ive seen 19x12 rims with a 325mm tire work with this method and no mini tubbing .

275's are not bad for the front. I currently have 285's up front and 305's on the back and I love the stance. 245's would be too skinny IMO

245s on the 18x8.5s are going to look wayy to small, IMO. Especially with big 335s out back. My friend has 17x9s with 255s and they look too skinny. Also, my car had 245/40/18s on 18x7.5 and it was way to small looking on an fbody. I would at least do 265s if not 275s.
