Default 3.910 bore block with 3,987 heads

i have a stock cube ls1 and im going with a set of afr 205s that have been opened up to a 3.987 combustion chamber i have a set of mls 5.7 gasket and they seem to have a little bit of a lip on the head side but the block side works should i run a 6.0 head gasket to get rid of the lip and make the gasket fiit bigger around the block

Yea you should use the 6.0 gasket. You don't want the gasket edge out over the heads combustion chamber.I had to use 6.0 gaskets with my ETP 5.3 heads-have a chamber opened to 3.95.
