All knowing peeps...and those who can do more reseach than me, please come in. (IDLE) Idle surge this am in the red car. Revved to 2500 by itself...then stalled out. Cranked it again, idled at 1200 for about 3 minutes and then died again.
Put it up on jack stands this afternoon after taking my back up car to work. Doing oil change and spark plugs while it's up in the air regardless of other stuff.
Anyway, cleaned the IAC and made sure it was functioning correctly. Had the car scanned at Discount and they only found the AIR and EGR was bad. (deleted, no biggie) Sprayed electronics cleaner on the front lid sensor and MAF. Both didn't help. Closed it all up and sprayed brake cleaner around everything and didn't find any vac leaks anywhere. I'm baffled. \
Any help is appreciated. I searched the forums but didn't find anything.
