Default 465/446 with an M6 enough for 11s on street tires?

Ok guys, here are the mods:

98 Z28 - full weight t-top car plus an easy 100# of stereo and sound deadening
cammed LS3 put down 465/446 SAE on a stingy dyno (reads 3-4% lower than other dynojets in the area)
M6, stock 3.42 rear
LS7 clutch kit, pro 5.0, Tick adj MC
Bilstein HDs, stock springs
FULL UMI suspension with Strano sway bars
crappy, heavy ZR1 repops 17x11 on rear with horrible Sumitomos

First and second must be rolled into right now while it's cold or they just spin.

Let's say a 1.9 short time for argument's sake, though launching the car can be tricky. Assuming the car is driven decent, not well, what is the car capable of?

Easily. Launch off idle and minimize spin you should run 11s no prob. With a 1.9 60' i'd say mid 11s. You could go 10s with some drag radials.

The best 60' I ever cut on street tires was a 2.2. You have around 60 ft/lbs more torque than I do so I can't imagine you being able to hook at all. Our track doesn't prep at all on the street car nights so maybe if you find a decent track. I wouldn't risk it though on street tires. I spun my car around 90 mph in 3rd gear and ended up doing 360's going down the track. I ended up hitting the wall, its not worth it trying to hook an m6 at the track on street tires.

Dude at least buy some used Nitto drags they are a hair better than street tires. M/T's with a few passes left on them if you can find them.

But to answer your question, yes that will deff get you 11's with a ricer-esque mph

street tires are tough and really start become a saftey concern at those power levels, I was stuck at a 12.1 on nt555's with a 2.0 60', dynoed 436hp and 515 ft lbs on the juice. tossed on some m/t et street radials, and pulled an 11.8, but snapped an axle on the next pass.

i agree with most you should be able to hit 11s with that setup, i was also wondering the same since i am a m6 10 bolt car.I would get a dr though it would be the safer thing to do at those power levels. If you baby it out of the hole and and shoot for a 1.9 short time you should be fine, however dont get greedy, like "jeepers 88" said he snapped an axle.
