Does anyone here know why GM has not submitted specs to NHRA for the new Camaro in order for it to be eligible to compete in the NHRA stock or superstock classes for the 2010 race season? The car is not even listed in the classification guide....kind of dumb to build a car like this and not submit it to be eligible to class race the car at the NHRA level.... WJ

If I can add to your post... I had seen someone I know post a comment on another site about live axle setups... Giz, you out there? Care to comment?

Many bow-tie racers out there want to compete w/these cars and turn them into competetive stockers/superstockers by lightening them up and installing a 12 bolt, etc., but first GM's got to submit plans in order to get them in the NHRA classification guide to get them factored....just as Ford did w/CJ and Chrysler did w/their Challenger Drag-Pak model....2010 Camaro could be a great NHRA stocker, just like the '98-'02s are...everyone says the 12 bolt solid rear axle is a must....just like the competetive GTO guys have done...my .02 cents. John, how are you doing? I'm sure you must have one of these things...Best wishes. WJ:usa:
