Default Drag tires

I went to the track for the first time ever this fall (Fomoso). I did terrible because I couldnt stop spinning off the line and when I let off the gas I bogged. The next time I am going to change tires at the track. I need a little help on what size tire and rim to go with, ET street or ET drag? I just installed a ram vds with the 980 disc and I have a buddy with a shop who works on rearends only.

Default

et streets have more cords in them than a slick, hence the sidewalls are slightly stiffer, which means more mph at the end than a slick. I've used both, but stuck to an et street recently. Once you get in the 11s, the et street can be a little worse compared to a slick hooking on a marginal track.
Just my $.02
