Default Can I just add a sub?

I'm not really into all this stereo stuff as i'm getting older When I was a youngn..back in 1992-1995 I had a 1991 Formula with a pioneer headunit, alpine EQ, 10 disk changer, 500 watt amp and 2 OZ competition 10s. It was saweeeet back-then, to be poungn to Sir Mix A-lots Posse-on-Broadway or Testarossa! But at 33 yrs old, I'm getting too old for that stuff. I was thinking about adding something to my Camaros' stereos (a 1998 Z28 non-Monsoon and a 1999 SS with 200watt Monsoon). The Z28s stereo has MUCH more bass than my SS (although the left sail panel speaker isn't working at all, and i had to replace both door speakers already...and the car only has 28,000 miles).

I had a 2000 WS6 with a Monsoon and it completely crushed both of these Camaros radios. What is involved in just adding a single sub or pair of subs and an amp to the Monsoon system?
