Default $50 wideband?

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=250&page=1

If I buy two of these, can I replace the stock sensors with these, and just use EFI Live to record the A/F ratio at WOT accurately? Why do you need a special controller (like this: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/lm1.php ) ?

I have heard some talk of needing a controller to make this work...would this one work: http://www.bnecustoms.com/plx_wide_band.htm (scroll down to the bottom)

This would be cool because for the cost of 1 hour on the Dyno I could have my own full time A/F ratio readout

Yes, you need a controller for the sensor - you can't just plug it in. I know the innovative one works, I would assume the other does also, though never used it.

Innovate sells a controller needed to make it work with factory PCM? Can you link me?

The stock pcm cannot understand the electrical signal that the LSU4 sensor outputs. It appears that the sensor varies current, rather than voltage.

I have the Innovate LM-1. I prefer it over all others I've read about as it does not use the calibration resistor, so it's accuracy is not affected by my altitute.

The device on the bottom of the bne customs page is to connect a narrow band guage to their $300 kit.

The innovate controller has a programmable analog (voltage) output - you can set it to mimic the voltage range of a stock o2, and then sample that output. (or any sensor that has a voltage based response, though you also need to make sure it samples fast enough to be usefull).
