75 shot ok with NGK TR55s ?
I just had these installed last week because I was not planning to go the nitrous route. But I just got an oppurnity to get a complete NOS kit (inc heater, opener, blanket, guages,WOT switch) for 1/3 the cost of new. This is a good deal, but are the plugs up to the task for a light hit?

The TR55's are much better for spraying than the stock plugs because they are copper and they don't have the little platinum disc. With that said, you should really swap them out for TR6's if you're going to spray. You need to take all necessary precautions when using nitrous if you want your motor to live.
Chances are that it would be fine. No point playing with fire though IMO.

Can be ok with a 75 shot dry, that is only like a 60rwhp shot. Just regap them to 0.040.
However as unit said if you take them out to regap, might as well dish out 100$ and get TR6's. Worth the safety margin.

$100 for plugs??? Ill sell them for $75
They are $1.99 each here for NGK plugs.
I think you will be ok if you really stuck to a 75 shot and went NO higher.
But at the next opportuninty you should swap them out.

100 bucks for TR6 plugs??? When and what day did you fall and bump your friggin head?? I just ordered another set from Thunder Racing yesterday. 2 bucks a plug= total of 16 dollars. But I got a couple other things that I needed and it will all be at my house Monday around 3 or 4.(I like living soo close to these places, but I'm still not close enough to drive there... arghh!!!)

Sorry guys for getting you confused! I do not live in the US. That is what they cost here. I would prefer 16 bucks myself too.
Yeap I fell, but not on my head, on my *** when I saw how much you guys are paying (Lucky bastards)LOL

It's not really "chewing" them up that's a concern. It'd detonation you need to be worried about. W/o proper timing adjustments, a hotter plug can mean detonation on nitrous.
Detonation + Nitrous = Boom
For 16 bucks and 45 minutes of your time, I think it's worth it to swap TR6s in. JMO
