want shift out off 2nd gear I have a 4l80 in a 67 chevelle and the 4l80 is wired like its in the truck. with 2 vss. but it wont come out of 2nd. any ideas on what may be going on.thanks

Do you have any codes? Are you sure the transmission has power and a good ground? Is the harness wired for a 4L60E or the 4L80E you have. The plug looks the same but I'm told the wiring is different (can't verify since I've never worked on an '80E).
About the grounding issue... I can't stress the importance enough. I've chased some intermittent gremlins in one of my cars and discovered a grounding issue myself.

not sure what your talking about on that one over my head. but if you show me something on bidirectional controls. i can do it. worth a try. at this point ill try anything
