I recently had a very bad experience with UPS but I would chalk that up to poor packaging unless the box was completely mangled....and to stay on topic I wouldn't use those gears. Good luck,

Larry

oh yeah there was a big hole in the side of it, and it was also from poor packaging no bubble wrap or anything just thrown in the box. the chip marks are below the wear line so maybe they can be machined out

I would not use those gears. Hmm, I've had good experiences with UPS, so perhaps it may change in the future. I've had terrible experiences with Federal Express, but who knows.

IDK but looks like it wouldnt be affected since its not in the wear pattern area, Hell if its going into a 10 bolt go for it, it will break anyways

I wouldn't use them.. It's hard to get them setup up right with no harsh harmonics as it is.. Yours has a wear pattern already established and chips. You're fighting a loosing battle.. But GL

Exclamation

DO NOT USE THAT PINION GEAR!!

If you want to throw money away you can just send it to one of us.

Did you contact the seller?? What did he say??

What rear is it for?? what is the ratio??

Edit: Someone on here may have a ring and pinion set laying around you can use.

You don't want to use a pinion gear from one set on another ring gear. Bad advice.
