Wiring question and convert my mechanical fan into electric fan
Hello,
I start to swap an LQ4 which come from chevy truck express 2004 in a Corvette C3 with 4 manual speed.
I've got any questions about wiring. It's a green and blue wiring, throttle by cable and ECM serv n° 12586243.
1°) I don't understand "STARTING / CHARGING SYSTEM" in my harness: what is it? can I disable it?
2°) I would like to change mechanic fan to electric fan. How can I do it
After 1 working day: my engine wiring :

Alternator output 'can' be controlled by the PCM. Leave the alternator wires as connected in your harness. It worked fine in the factory config, so why delete/change it.
Electric fans can be controlled by the PCM just get the F-body schematics from the FAQ and wire them up. Be sure to have your tuner endable them in the PCM file.
