Default oil leak

i recently did a transmission swap and after letting the car sit for a while there was a puddle of oil right where the trans meets up. my car didnt leak before the swap, so i dont think it is the rear main seal or the freeze plug. i was told it could be leaking from the flywheel bolts, does this sound correct? and what do you reccommend i use on the bolts when i redo it?

never heard of the flywheel bolts causing a leak. can you tell if it engine oil or trans fluid?

it is either going to be trans fluid - (pump seal ect..... )
or
engine oil - (rear main, loose drain plug or possibly a loose oil filter)

g/l.

Odds are its the rear main the bolts wont cause a leak. That's why I usually replace the seal while I'm doing a clutch it's too easy and cheap not to
