Default Headgaskets?

This is also in the LT1 section. Just trying to get some help.

Long story short, my wife took the camaro to the store the other day, called me because the engine started ticking really bad and misfiring. I thought it may have been a spun bearing or something so I had it towed home.

Just had time to look at it today, pulled the valve covers off to find a popped rocker. Push rod was not bent but the rocker arm was popped off of the spring and pushrod. So I went to the dealer and bought a new pushrod and rocker as there was a bit of wear from where the rocker was slapping against the spring.

Installed set valve lash etc. Now when I took it around the block it has a bit of a misfire under 1500 rpm and it is also bellowing white smoke. Could the push rod have busted the head gasket or something? The car has never over heated on me nor my wife. I really hope it's not the head gaskets, if it is i'm just buying new heads while they're off.

Dont mean to do you like this, but I thought black was for running to rich and blue was oil. I could be wrong.

white > coolant
black> excessively rich condition
Blue> oil
grey> excessively lean condition

(for most situations)

Well I checked the oil and it was three quarts over filled. (Let my wife take it to have the oil changed while I was out of town) Never doing that again. I drained the oil and got it back down to a normal mark, cranked it up and it smoked a bit but not as bad as it has been. It's hard to tell if the smoke is white or grey. I cant drive it much as I am waiting on a new rear end. It does seem to have a missfire now, I thought new plugs would fix that but it didn't.

It only misfires in low rpms, between 1k and 2k then it runs like it always does. I do not get a flashing check engine light when it happens. I did notice some white froth under the oil cap and down in the oil fill tube. I really hope I dont have blown head gaskets on this thing.
