Default Fans To Fog Light Switch

If one were to run the +/- directly from the fans to the +/- wires for the fog light switch would there be any issues?? Would it work??

Im not sure how many amps the fans pull or how many the fog lights pull.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx, Jon

Not sure the amp rating on everything but I can tell you it won't work. The switch most likely activates a relay and will not handle the load of the fans. You might want to look at this a different way.

get a 30a relay from autozone or where ever and hook the fans to it and then you can either use the same or a new switch without blowin stuff up. Well at least if the fans dont pull over 30a, then you will need a bigger relay, but i highly doubt that.
