Default Power steering pump delete

Will deleting the power steering pump effect the brakes in any way shape or form on a LS1 F-body.

The pump has nothing to do with the brakes

Didnt think so. Do you leave the cooler lines attached and just block off the supply that would run from the pump?

No not at all they are two totally different systems

Just curious, why are you deleting power steering

I removed the pump, bracket and lines. I cut the lines on the rack and left about 6 inches then I looped them together with a piece of hose

Thanks for the info. And yes i found a thread earlier that showed the Part number for a shorter belt.
